Our Self Catering Holiday Cottages

Located amongst the rolling hills, the cottages offer superb accommodation with amazing views over peaceful countryside.

Sleeping 4 or 5/6 people, the cottages make the perfect destination for a break in the country, a week away from it all or a longer holiday, any time of year.

For something more special, or if your group is larger, Hoscote House itself – sleeping up to 20 people in superb luxury – is also available to rent.

Hoscote Estate is actively managed by its owners, who take a keen interest in continuous investment and regeneration of the grounds and walled gardens. In recent years an extensive tree conversation project has been underway, as has a highly successful wildlife conversation project to protect, promote and grow the local, native Red Squirrel population.

Self catering guests naturally have full access to the estate, allowing them to enjoy the wonderful outdoor ameneties this beautiful corner of Scotland offers.

Pathhead Farmhouse –  4 Star – Sleeps 6

Sleeping 6 in 3 bedrooms, Pathhead Farmhouse is a beautiful self catering cottage nestled in a quiet, rural corner of the estate giving it amazing views of the open countryside and rolling hills.

Equipped to the highest standards, the cottage is rated as a 4-Star property by the Scottish Tourist Board and features a sitting room with an open fire, a fully fitted kitchen with an adjoining dining area, 2 double bedrooms, 1 twin bedroom, a w/c and a family bathroom. A parking space is conveniently located next to the cottage.

Sycamore Lodge 4 Star – Sleeps 5/6

Sleeping  5 to 6 guests in 3 bedrooms, Sycamore Lodge is a traditional gate lodge in a rural setting, located by the impressive wrought iron gates at the start of the tree-lined avenue leading to the main house.The cottage has been extended and fully refurbished to offer superb self-catering accommodation that has a 4-star rating from the Scottish Tourist Board.

The cottage is bright and airy, and the spacious living & dining room is set towards the rear, with views over the countryside. A separate kitchen and separate utility room provide excellent facilities and one of the bedrooms has an en-suite shower-room. A family bathroom with over-bath shower serves the other two bedrooms. All accommodation in the cottage is at ground level and parking space is available adjacent to the property.

Gardeners Cottage 4 Star – Sleeps 4

Sleeping 4 people in 2 bedrooms, Gardeners Cotttage forms part of the original stone-built steading and features a superb open-plan kitchen, dining and living room with an open fire. Parking spaces are located right next to the building.

With a double bedroom, twin bedroom, family bathroom and separate w/c, Gardeners Cottage offers luxurious and flexible accommodation for a self-catering break.

Hoscote House – 5 Star – Sleeps 20

The magnificent centrepiece of the estate, Hoscote House in the Scottish Borders was built in 1858 for John Stavert. Now fully refurbished and upgraded to 5-star Scottish Tourst Board standard, the house is available to rent on a self-catering or fully-catered basis.

The house comfortably sleeps 20 guests in super-deluxe ensuite and deluxe rooms, all of which have been recently upgraded to the highest standard.
