Activities on and around Hoscote Estate

Activity weekends at Hoscote Estate include mountain biking on the estate trails or in Craik Forest just two miles away (mountain bikes available upon request and subject to availability on a first-come-first-served basis), various marked walks through the estate woodland leading to the picnic site and protected wildlife area as well as fishing in the stocked fishing pond.

One of our recent additions is the gym, sauna and fitness area located in the Dairy which is reserved for exclusive use by Hoscote House guests only. There’s also an outdoor hot tub for a truly relaxing experience, and for an extra special treat we are happy to arrange aromatherapists, beauticians and hairdressers that make Hoscote Estate perfect for a special occassion.

Guests renting Hoscote House will find a games room, where you can enjoy a game of pool, watch television and DVDs - internet access can be found in the computer room of Hoscote House or if you’ve brought your laptop you can log on to the free wireless internet connection from pretty much any downstairs room of Hoscote House or Pathhead Farmhouse.

There are many activities in the local area, so if you are looking for somewhere to stay for your walking and horse riding weekends then Hoscote could have just what you need and will help arrange everything. Whether it’s a morning at the local clay pigeon shooting ground, horse riding at a local livery or a round of golf at the course moments from the estate, we’ll do all we can to help you set it up.
